Every year the brownies have a weekend away indoors. This is a chance for them to develop their independence, make new friends and grow in confidence.
During the heatwave in June they did several activities and crafts indoors based on the theme of under the sea before facing more exciting challenges like Go Karting, Assault Course a Climbing Wall and Orienteering.
We stayed in Derwent, within the grounds of Girlguiding Derbyshire’s Glenbrook Outdoor Activity Centre which is a purpose built indoor accommodation split over two floors sleeping 30 girls in bunk beds.
