Members from Shelton Lock Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies, Cubs and Guides joined together with members of the local community for a service of remembrance on Sunday 10th November.
Despite a run of rather wet weather we were fortunate that the sun came out and we all remained dry. The parade started from the Victory Club on Chellaston Road and we proudly walked to the war memorial on Sinfin Avenue displaying our new group flags. Following a generous donation from the War Memorial Village in the summer we were able to purchase new flags in our joint names “1st Shelton Lock”.
